What you're buying

The Next Chapter is a digital PDF workbook. It's an educational and reflective self-help tool, written to support you in thinking through and processing life after divorce. It is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional support — the full disclaimer on this is on the homepage and applies here too.

Who can buy

This product is intended for adults. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).

Price and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We reserve the right to change the price of the workbook at any time; the price you pay is the price shown at the time you complete checkout.

Delivery

The workbook is delivered digitally and instantly after successful payment, as a PDF, to the email address you provide at checkout. It's your responsibility to provide an accurate email address and to check your spam or promotions folder if you don't see it arrive promptly. If you haven't received your download shortly after purchase, contact us and we'll sort it out.

All sales are final

Because this is a digital product delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds once a purchase is complete — the moment you buy it is the moment you own it. Please read the full sales page carefully and make sure the workbook is the right fit for you before purchasing. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under consumer protection law in your country that cannot be excluded by these terms.

Your license to use the workbook

When you buy the workbook, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use it for your own private, personal use. You may print it for your own use.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

Share, forward, resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise distribute the workbook or any part of it to anyone else
Upload the workbook to any shared drive, forum, marketplace, or file-sharing site
Reproduce, republish, or adapt the content for your own commercial or public use
Claim authorship of the content, or use it to create a competing product

All content, design, and text in the workbook and on this website remains the intellectual property of The Next Chapter. Purchasing the workbook gives you a license to use it as set out above — it does not transfer ownership of that content to you.

No guarantee of outcomes

The workbook is provided as an educational and reflective tool. We don't and can't guarantee any particular emotional, psychological, or practical outcome from using it — everyone's circumstances and pace are different. If you're in crisis or need urgent support, please see the emergency guidance on the homepage and workbook rather than relying on this product alone.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with your purchase or use of the workbook is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the workbook. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, such as liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, if our product offering changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site or a previously purchased workbook after a change doesn't require you to do anything further, but significant changes affecting a live product will be communicated where practical.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the United States, nothing in these terms limits or waives any consumer protection rights you have under the law of your state or under US federal law that cannot be limited or waived by agreement. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you likewise keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of residence, regardless of this governing law clause.

If a dispute arises, we'd ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Where that isn't possible, and subject to the consumer protections above, disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
